It’s not always easy to be you. Maybe you don’t fit in. Maybe you’re different. Maybe you’re awesome and sticking your head above the crowd and get shot at every now and again.
But really, if you can’t be you – authentically you – then who the hell can you be? Some plastic imitation of someone else?
Let me ask you this…does anyone ask for imitation crabmeat on the menu or do they want the real goddamned thing?

I love this post. It takes so much to be authentic, to be honest, real, and not be caught up in games people play. AT 59, I finally think I am THERE! Be authentic to your family, your friends,and your acquaintances means to be yourself and not bend to force that mean to use you as a tool for their benefit. Be kind to all that deserve it.and be generous with it..just be YOU.
