Sharing the love with Denise…what good is World Kindness Week if we don’t give props to the most obvious people…those who are in our lives all the time.
Denise recently told me that she goes into her local coffee shop and says, “WOOT WOOT!” when she walks in.
Yesterday I thought about it and laughed out loud a) because it’s funny and ridiculous, and b) because I realized that this is one of the many reasons why I think Denise is awesome!
Perhaps it’s just that I’m equally obnoxious and it feels good to know that there’s someone else in the world I can point my finger at and say, “See? Nothing wrong with me! Must be normal if she does stuff like that too!”
Or not. But at least we’re awesome!

Thanks! I think you’re pretty awesome too. Just be you, and others will think you’re awesome too (that goes for everyone)! The ones who don’t were never meant to be in your life anyhow. You just gave me the kick in the butt I needed today to really get motivated. That should make you feel great!!!

Hi Ladies! I think this topic and your posts are very uplifting. We were never taught, and no fault to our parents, that we should acknowledge our awesomeness so as a result, it came very late in life. Keep celebrating yourselves, it is not a mark of vanity but a sign of confidence. Love all of you for what amazing women you are!

Thanks Martha! We are all amazing women – making and adjusting to changes life throws at us daily. Hell, just being able to wake up in the morning and take in a new day makes us all awesome. At least I think so anyway. Pass on the good word!

Thanks, Martha!
Each one of us has something awesome to offer the world, and our hope is that we can encourage and celebrate that in every person that crosses our path!
