Ever think that maybe you’re placing a bit too much pressure of time on the things you want in your life?
(Yeah, let’s pause and think on that for a moment.)
Time is infinite, and yet many of us seem to always want what we want right now. Now, now, now. Then we get frustrated when things don’t unfold on our desired timeline.
What if you started taking things day by day, moment by moment?
This is not to say you shouldn’t have goals or dreams or plans, but rather that it’s important to gain an acceptance of where you are in life and of what adventures (and side trips) the universe has presented to you.
So yes, still make your important life plans, but also live life in the present moment. Feel the now. Be present.
If we can’t be in the present moment, we will always be living in fear. Fear of not enough time. Fear of what might go wrong. Fear of not being able to fix what has gone wrong.
Perhaps it’s time to step away from all of that backward and forward thinking and just enjoy where you are right now.
